You Are Invited!
For the past twenty years, Wild Idea Buffalo Company has been conserving and regenerating our prairie grasslands, by bringing back the buffalo. In working with other like-minded ranchers, along with tribal herds, and conservation groups we have positively affected over two hundred thousand acres of grasslands!
This growing sustainable ranching movement has also supplied the healthiest and best-tasting meat on the planet for consumers like you that care. Although the work continues for all of us in our roles as, ranchers, educators, and consumers - we are gathering to celebrate what we have accomplished, which couldn’t have happened without you.
We hope you will consider joining us for our 20th Birthday Celebration, November 3rd on National Bison Day!
For those attending from out of the area and needing lodging, we have set up a great rate of $69.00 for you at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn.

Greetings Wild Idea Family! Many thanks for the invitation. We must respectfully decline, as we will not be able to make it from South Carolina at this time. You can be sure we will be celebrating your 20th anniversary here though with our favorite Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks!! And the dogs will have their share of the heart jerky!!
Oh man how fun but 1 year early for us. My wife retires at the end of this school year and she can’t get enough time off to make it a trip we could afford. We have never been to South Dakota and would love to make a trip out of it sometime. We will be with you in spirit.
Sounds like a wonderful event. I would totally go if it wasn’t such a long trip from WA. Until then, I’ll just keep reading your interesting posts, learning from your recipes and thanking the buffalo for the gift of their lives!
Just got back from PowWow at St. Joseph’s in Chamberlain last week.
Sorry can’t join you for your celebration, at least our hearts are tied in..
