Introducing Savory Grains

We know our customers are very discriminating in what they choose to eat. Tracking down healthy and sustainable food can often feel like modern day hunting and gathering. So we’re always looking for ways to make eating “real food,” easier and more convenient.

Finding food products that maintain our high standards from companies whose values mirror our own takes some legwork. But, we’re very particular and we know you are too. This month we are very happy to add Patagonia Provisions Savory Grains to our menu.
Like their parent company Patagonia, Patagonia Provisions has gone the extra mile to ensure their sourcing of ingredients are from farmers who share their social and environmental standards. Much like their suppliers for mushrooms and vegetables, these are people committed to producing the highest quality, 100% certified organic grains possible.
We’re excited to work with these farmer’s, and proud of the delicious Savory Grains we’re producing together.” Patagonia Provisions

Patagonia Provisions uses ancient grains, including Kamut-khorasan wheat, bulgur wheat and quinoa, which are higher in protein and loaded with vitamins and minerals. These nutty, buttery tasting grains are blended with other organic vegetables and spices making their Savory Grain blends not only delicious, but, good for you and good for the planet too.Patagonia Provisions Savory GrainsOf course, there is no simple, easy solution, but we believe organic is a good place to start, so a “greener” revolution can feed the world while making it a healthier place to live.” Patagonia ProvisionsBuffalo Stir FryAlthough these products are backpack friendly, they are becoming a favorite with chefs and in household kitchens, including the ranch kitchen. Jill has created some delicious recipes that are great on their own or to accompany Wild Idea's 100% grass-fed buffalo cuts. Plus, these amazing grains cook in just ten minutes!
