Celebrating Native American Day

For all of us at Wild Idea Buffalo Company, we believe that the buffalo are a conduit for connecting and building bridges where so much has been broken. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with our Native brothers and sisters, as colleagues and buffalo sourcing partners. Our diverse community celebrated Native American Day all weekend. Below are some images of the festivities and the beautiful people that represent it.

A special thank you to our Native team members (apologies to those not included), who work very hard to bring you fabulous, healthy red meat, and, to all of our team members who participated this weekend. Philámayaye.

Being part Cherokee, missed by ‘number’ though, the longer I live, the more I realize this slogan to be true. It doesn’t matter that another person doesn’t believe we are related. Human is human. We just have to protect that person from themselves and the rest of humanity, gently.
