All products are shipped in insulated boxes with dry ice to ensure the meat arrives in excellent condition. We also monitor temperatures daily and make adjustments to guarantee a successful transit. We use both FedEx & UPS services and we will determine the most efficient way to ship your product.
We waive all signature requirements unless instructed otherwise. If you are not home for delivery the FedEx or UPS representative should leave your package at your door.
With the increase of online shopping and the added pressures that it has put on our courier services, we recently added Route, an insurance option that protects from lost, stolen or damaged orders. It also offers order tracking that allows you to visually track your package from the point of your online purchase through delivery. We wanted to bring this shipping protection and online tracking system option to your attention and briefly highlight how it works.
• Once you are at the checkout process, you will notice the Route Shipping Protection option automatically selected for your convenience in the Shipping method details. You may opt-out of this protection simply by clicking on the button.
• After you’ve completed your purchase, Route will send a confirmation email that provides details on how to track your order; either via web, or you may prefer real-time updates using the Route app. Regardless, you will want to hang on to your Route email until your package has safely arrived.
• In the event your package is lost or stolen, you will be able to resolve any issue through Route’s claim system. If the package or product is damaged, please leave the damaged box and/or product as-is to validate your claim. You will be able to resolve this issue too through the links provided in your Route confirmation email or through the Route app.

Yes. We welcome our customers to stop by our Rapid City processing facility. If you call us in advance we can put together your order and have your product waiting for you.
Wild Idea Buffalo makes a fantastic gift and we receive a lot of gift orders. Simply indicate the recipient address and we will ship it directly to them. If you would like to add a personal note in the gift box please let us know in the comment section.

If you encounter any issues with your order or a package that has been sent to you, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt for any problems regarding product, shipping, or other related issues. If your order arrives on time and the exterior of the box is in good condition and you refuse to accept your order, Wild Idea Buffalo Co. will not refund your money.
