Nutrient Density
For over 30 years, we've raised buffalo the way nature intended: grazing native grasses, working the soil with every step, staying on the land they help regenerate through harvest. We've always believed healthy land raises healthy animals, and healthy animals nourish us.
Now we have another way to show it.
Edacious: Independent Food Testing
We sent three of our most-loved cuts to Edacious for independent nutrient testing — not just a standard nutrition panel, but a deeper look at the vitamins and minerals naturally present in our buffalo.
Healthy Soil = Healthy Food
The results gave us a clearer picture of what "nutrient dense" actually looks like: B vitamins, iron, zinc, phosphorus and copper across the board, with each cut carrying its own distinct profile.
And we are learning more about how our land management practices impact the nutritional profile of our buffalo.
The 2026 Regenerative Organic Nutrition Report
In September 2025, Edacious and the Regenerative Organic Alliance began a four-year partnership to answer that with data.
One year in, more than a dozen brands, including Wild Idea Buffalo, with at least one Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) product have teamed up with Edacious for testing and translation, spanning more than 50 products in total.
The 2026 Regenerative Organic Nutrition Report brings those results together, making it one of the largest cross-brand collections of regenerative organic nutrition testing published to date.
