So, give a watch, and a listen to Dan's story of how he was doing “regenerative agriculture before it was cool.”

Dan, as a long time customer, who first learned about your intent in bringing the Buffalo back to the grasslands of the Dakota’s via a PBS documentary, I can not be more happy that you had the forethought, energy and perseverance to pursue this endeavor. Please do not ever forget to realize how many of us appreciate all of your efforts. In a time when many are dubiously labeled heroes, to the extent that the term has been marginalized, your Wild Idea has been a great example of what a person of ethics can achieve. One of my favorite Brewer and Shipley songs titled, Rock Me On the Water, starts with the lyric: Oh people, look around you, The signs are everywhere, You’ve left it for somebody other than you To be the one to care….Well Dan you did NOT leave it for somebody other than you to be the one to care. Thank you so much for all that you do, mentally, physically and in every way.

Herein is the story of the Green New Deal in microcosm. Here’s hoping the youthful folks just starting to get elected to our federal legislative bodies get a load of what you’ve already managed to get done. Wait ‘til they digest what Wild Idea is in the hallowed halls of D.C., if they haven’t already. How can I send a gift basket with your book to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ office?
