As the year winds to a close, we reflect back on all that we have been able to accomplish. It is all driven by you, our customers who care about how your food is raised. We truly appreciate your support and offer you heartfelt thanks for giving us the opportunity to continue our greater mission of prairie conservation.
We were able to pause and celebrate our efforts with many of you last month. For those of you that were not able to join us, we had the great honor of having Patagonia’s founder (and our partner) Yvon Chouinard, join our founder Dan O’Brien for a conversation and a Q&A with our guests.
South Dakota Public Broadcasting captured much of that discussion in an interview, which we thought you might enjoy too. It is rare to have these two environmental thought leaders together sharing their stories and what drives them to continue fighting the good fight.
So have a listen and thank you Yvon and Dan for your leadership!

Dan Love the whole buffalo story. Love the books. Love the inspiration you have given to people that you can not imagine. I think if you really think about all you have done. A little more positive attitude would be appreciated Thanks Bruce
So very thankful for the movement to retore native grasses and buffalo. Reading the history of killing off the buffalo, Manifest destiny, and the Dust Bowl certainly helps one to understand the importance of bringing back the Bison and retoring native grasslands.
Two friends who have been active is the effort to restore native Bison to the Great Plains just gifted us with a nice box of Bison cuts from Wild Idea Buffalo. Their products are great and their efforts to preserve and protect the Bison in their natural environment is praiseworthy. I will in turn be gifting other with friends with Wild Idea Buffalo meats for Christmas and throughout the coming years.
